It’s that time of year again! This show will consist of 3 nights – October 5, October 6, and October 7 – at 2720 Cherokee!
Once again, there will be 3 shows total: a private show Thursday night, and 2 public shows on Friday night and Saturday night. The private show is only open to friends and family of the performers and other performers and polers, and is meant to give performance accessibility for those who are unable to be open about their pole passion.
Though this show has grown a ton over the years, it is first and foremost a Student Showcase and as such, priority will go to current Mynx Academy students. The number of performance slots available to non-Mynx Academy students will be determined after registration has been live for a week.
If you are a current student, you are getting a one week head start to sign up before it is opened up to non Mynx Academy students.

Posing for Pole: Prep for Pole Shoots with Michelle Mynx Workshop
Sunday, February 26, 2017
4:30 pm – 6:00 pm (90 min)
With our Pole Portraits with Insominiac Studios in mind, I am offering this posing workshop specifically geared toward photo shoots on Pole. This workshop is open to all pole dancers, whether you are signed up for the portrait sessions or not, though we do have spots available for that as well!
Pole shoots can be much more challenging than some may expect. In this workshop i will share with you some general tips for posing on pole and also help you find the best shapes and angles for you as an individual.
I suggest thinking it over and making a list of tricks you would hope to be photographed in. Think of the things you are strongest and most comfortable with, the things you can hold confidently for at least a few seconds, and the things you can maintain a relaxed face or smile with. Remember this is the time to use those beautiful shapes you just can’t seem to find the perfect transition for.
Bring any costume pieces you would like to wear and any ideas you may have for your specific vision.
